Origin Story

RemotePass, founded in September 2020 by Kamal Reggad and Karim Nadi, wasn't always the global HRtech solution it is today. Initially conceived as a business travel SaaS platform, the founders soon pivoted due to the challenges presented by COVID-19.

This shift stemmed from their own experience. As a remote-first company themselves, they struggled with the complexities of managing and paying international teams, especially in emerging markets.

This firsthand insight sparked the creation of RemotePass, a platform that shatters geographical barriers to employment. Their platform empowers companies to hire and manage talent worldwide, smoothing the path with local benefits and financial services for employees. This innovative solution has fueled explosive growth, attracting a diverse clientele of companies managing international and domestic teams.

Meet our Executive Team

Kamal Reggad

Co-Founder & CEO

Kamal is a tech entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience, pioneering the e-commerce landscape in Morocco. In 2011, he founded the country's first e-commerce company, successfully scaling it before its acquisition by a local holding company in 2018. Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Kamal leveraged his strong technical background as a Lead System Engineer at Spotfire (acquired by TIBCO). There, he built expertise in creating scalable infrastructure environments for software deployments. Kamal's passion for innovation extends beyond his business ventures, as evidenced by his recognition as an Endeavor entrepreneur. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.

Karim Nadi

Co-Founder & COO

Karim brings over 15 years of proven success in B2B and SaaS sales, with a strong track record in business development and entrepreneurial ventures. Previously, he held leadership positions at two industry leaders: Krux Digital (a data management platform acquired by Salesforce) where he served as VP of Sales, and Criteo, a leading online retargeting firm, where he built and led the high-performing MEA sales team to market leadership.
