Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background. What did you do before coming to RemotePass?

Before joining RemotePass, I worked as a Client Success Professional at another EOR provider. My role involved assisting international businesses in expanding across various African countries, managing relationships with both clients and employees.

How did you learn about the Employee Onboarding Specialist role at RemotePass? What made you interested in the position?

I learnt about the Employee Onboarding Specialist role at RemotePass through LinkedIn when a recruiter reached out to me. After reviewing the job description and researching the company — although I have always known  about RemotePass — I became very interested. The role offers the chance to onboard employees from regions beyond Africa, which is an exciting new challenge for me. Additionally, I was impressed by how RemotePass leverages technology to simplify the onboarding process, making it more efficient and seamless.

Can you walk us through a typical day as an Employee Onboarding Specialist at RemotePass?

A typical day as an Employee Onboarding Specialist at RemotePass starts with reviewing my to-do list and catching up on emails. I then check my Zendesk tickets to prioritize my tasks.  I join the daily Ops call to discuss tasks, operations, priorities, escalations, and updates with colleagues. Throughout the day, I may have calls with partners, employees, attend internal meetings and spend time on various tasks. I end the day by meeting with my team to provide updates on our tasks using the company's platform.

What's your favorite perk about working at RemotePass?

My favorite perk about working at RemotePass is the flexibility it offers. The ability to work remotely allows for a great work-life balance, and the company's dedication on using advanced technology makes working together seamless and efficient. I also love the supportive team culture! 

What do you like to do for fun outside of work?

Outside of work, I love watching movies and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy sightseeing, reading, and watching YouTube videos.

If you could have any superpower related to onboarding, what would it be and why?

If I could have one superpower related to onboarding, it would be the ability to instantly approve visa transfers and approvals for employees requiring immigration support. This would streamline the onboarding process, eliminating delays and ensuring a swift transition for new hires.

What excites you most about the future of RemotePass?

What excites me most about the future of RemotePass is its commitment to simplifying global onboarding processes. The constant integration of new technologies and updates by RemotePass is particularly exciting, as it ensures that the onboarding process continues to evolve and improve. I wouldn't be surprised if RemotePass becomes the foremost leader in global onboarding solutions, providing unmatched efficiency and convenience to clients worldwide.
