Paid sick leave is four months. The first five days are paid for by the employer, with the remainder paid by the national Social Insurance Fund, with the amount depending on the employee’s length of service:
Maternity leave in Ukraine is paid from the Social Insurance Fund at a rate of 100% of the mother’s salary for 126 days (70 of which must be taken before the due date and 56 after the birth).
