RemotePass was founded in September 2020, a time when the world stood still, yet everything seemed to change overnight.
Founded by Kamal Reggad, it began as a business travel SaaS platform with ambitious dreams. But when COVID-19 turned travel into uncertainty and redefined how we work, he saw a chance to pivot and evolve.
As a remote-first company, Kamal intimately understood the challenges of managing and paying international teams, especially in emerging markets where solutions were few and far between.
This personal struggle ignited a bold vision: to create a platform that would tear down the barriers to global employment and empower businesses to connect with top talent, no matter where they were.
Today, RemotePass is that vision brought to life. Kamal Reggad
Co-founder & CEO
Kamal is a tech entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience, pioneering the e-commerce landscape in Morocco. In 2011, he founded the country’s first e-commerce company, successfully scaling it before its acquisition by a local holding company in 2018.
Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Kamal leveraged his strong technical background as a Lead System Engineer at Spotfire (acquired by TIBCO), building scalable infrastructure environments for software deployments. He is a recognised Endeavor entrepreneur and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
